मारवाड़ ईवन्ट प्लानर जोधपुर की ओर से जोधपुर में नवरात्र के उपलक्ष में गरबा डाडिंया महोत्सव का आयोजन किया जाऐगा। सुरेश कुमार ने बताया कि चैपासनी हाउसिंग बोर्ड 14 ई सेक्टर में माहेश्वरी भवन में बुधवार को शाम 6 बजे से रात्री 10 बजे तक डाडंीया को महोत्सव मनाया जाऐगा। डांडीया महोत्सव में मुख्य अतिथि के तौर पर आशिष गहलोत होंगें।
तथा सिद्धार्थ डांडीया महोत्सव पान बहार और विनोद ग्रुप की और से कायलाना रोड स्थित होटल सिद्धार्थ इंटर नेशनल में लाइव डिजे पर बड़ी संख्या में लोगो ने डांडिया महोत्सव में भाग लिया। यहा पारम्परिक सिन्धी वेशभुषा और आकर्षक गुजराती और काठियावाड़ी परिधानो में पहंुचे युवक व युवतियो ने जब गुजराती भक्तिगीतों की धुनों पर डांडिया टकराई तो दर्शक भी झुम उठे

नवमी तिथि का क्षय होने के कारण नवरात्री आठ दिन की होगी।

नवरात्री हमारे यहाॅ हिंदूओ के द्वारा मनाया जाने वाला महत्वपूर्ण पर्व है। यह संस्कृत शब्द है जिसका अर्थ है नौ राते। इन नौ रातो और दस दिनों के दौरान शक्ति के नौ रुपों की पुजा की जाती है।

हमारे यहाॅ पंचागनुसार चैत्र नवरात्रि से ही नववर्ष के पंचागं की गणना शुरु होती है। नवरात्री के पहले दिन घट स्थापना की जाती है। इसके बाद नवरात्री के नौ दिन मां भवानी की पुजा हेती है। नवरा़़त्री के नौ दिन मां के अलग अलग रुप व अवतार की पुजा की जाती हैं, चैत्र नवरात्रि में उपासना पुजा करने से आत्मशुद्धि के साथ साथ मन की शुद्धि और घर में नकारात्मकता भी दुर होती है। और वातावरण में सकारात्मक उर्जा का संचार होता है। सकारात्मक उर्जा की प्रतीक चैत्र नवरात्री इस बार 18 मार्च से शुरु होकर 25 मार्च तक चलेगीं। परन्तु अबकी बार नवमी तिथि का क्षय होने के कारण नवरात्री आठ दिन की होगी।
नवरात्री साल में दो बार आती है। पहली चैत्र नवरात्री और दुसरी शारदीय नवरात्रि इसके अलावा आषाढ़ और माघ मास के शुक्ल पक्ष में पड़ने वाले दो गुूप्त नवरात्रि पर भी मां दुर्गा की विषेश पुजा अर्चना की जाती है।

नौ शक्तियों के रुप इस प्रकार है। -

शैलपुत्री- इसका अर्थ पहाड़ो की पुत्री
ब्रह्मचारिणी - ब्रह्म के समान विचरण करने वाली
चंद्रघंटा- चांद की तरह चमकने वाली
कूष्माण्डा- इसका अर्थ पुरा जगत उनके पैर में है।
स्कंदमाता- कार्तिक स्वामी की माता
कात्यायनी- कात्यायन आश्रम में जन्मि
कालरात्री- काल का नाश करने वाली
महागौरी- सफेद रंग वाली मां।
सिद्धिदात्री- सर्व सिद्धि देने वाली।

State of Jammu and Kashmir
Terrorist attacks and violent civil unrest are possible in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. East Central and Southern India

Maoist extremist groups, or “Naxalites,” are active in a large swath of India from eastern Maharashtra and northern Telangana through western West Bengal, particularly in rural parts of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand and on the borders of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, and Odisha. The Naxalites have conducted frequent terrorist attacks on local police, paramilitary forces, and government officials.

Due to the fluid nature of the threat, all U.S. government travelers to states with Naxalite activity must receive special authorization from the U.S. consulate responsible for the area to be visited. U.S. officials traveling only to the capital cities in these states do not need prior authorization.

The city of Jodhpur and the Mehrangarh Fort will play host to Jodhpur RIFF between the 24-28th October. For the 11th year running, the event will witness soul-stirring music and performances from Rajasthan and around the world. Jodhpur RIFF offers a glimpse into traditional Rajasthani folk instruments, facilitated interactions with folk experts, and many international musicians. Presenting an expansive repertoire of folk music, Jodhpur RIFF is lauded for the variety of soundscapes it showcases. There are events such as the Dawn Concerts, where music lovers can enjoy riveting performances as the sun rises over the renowned monument of Jaswant Thada. Hidayat Husain Khan, an accomplished Sitar player, will grace the stage along with thumri and dadra singer Vidya Rao, at this particular segment of the festival. A midnight folk variety concert that goes on till the early mornings can be experienced at the Desert Lounge in the Rao Jodha Park. The musical extravaganza also offers an In Residence, a space where guests of the event have an opportunity to meet the cultivators of the traditional Rajasthani folk music.
